Keeping my leak speculation here until the official reveal happens.
This is my first time engaging in a Precure leak season since AI took over everything, so I wonder if it's just going to be like this forever now. Even the self-proclaimed anti-AI people are passing around "high quality" versions of the leaks from Tuesday that are just AI upscaling, weird artifacts and nonsensical design choices included. I want to shake people until they say they understand that it's a guess and it can't reconstruct data like that. Anyone can probably gain a more accurate read on the designs by eyeballing it themself. Which reminds me that I want to try and draw the girls before the high quality designs are either leaked or officially revealed.
Since my regular device doesn't want to charge, I have plenty of time today.
I wasn't expecting to get more so soon.

My guess is that 💜 = Cure Mystic, 🩷/❤️ (starting to lean towards red theory) = Cure Answer, 🖤 = Cure Arcana, and 🩵 is the unknown cure.
I like these names individually but the theme of this season is starting to confuse me. I think the concept of an occult or mystical character that tests the team and pushes the boundaries of logic and intuition could be an interesting dynamic in a detective season, but I have mixed feelings if more than one character or the entire season is themed that way. I'm looking forward to seeing what they try to do with this concept though.

The 🩵 is named Cure Éclair, maybe after the “flash of lighting” meaning. It’s a very eccentric choice. I want to see what other crazy things they do with this theme.
It’s technically not a leak, but I’ll be comparing it to the leaks. I was fairly confident the leaked designs were real since it’s hard to fake the insides of the gummies and so many consistent designs, but I still feel relieved they’re real and I didn’t hype myself up for disappointment.
Starting with the rumored lead, Cure 💜: I thought her design was the only boring one out of the leaks, but her silhouette is starting to change my mind a bit. Her side bangs are way bigger than I thought from the leaks. It’s adorable combined with her ahoge. I also love how her hair ends in an upside down heart to match her partner. What if we were both magical girls and our forms had complimenting motifs…
Cure 🩷/❤️: Even though 🖤 and 🩵 were the cures that caught my eye when the leaks dropped, I think this girl has oshihen potential. It’s hard to put into words and a lot of is just my assumptions, but that cute of a design combined with a potentially stubborn personality would be amazing. I wonder if it’s possible to have an oshi and an oshihen type? My oshis usually have traits similar to myself (artistic, reserved, sensitive, often masking), but characters I oshihen to are usually traits I admire (hardworker, impulsive, stubborn).
Her design is so good… I unexpectedly love the combination of huge braids and blunted ends. Especially the short strands of hair by her chin and the heart shape. I also really like all the dainty accessories, like the ribbon and lace in her hair. I’ll keep an eye on her.
Cure 🩵: Okay, I expected to be completely off when I tried to draw and piece her design together from the leaks. But somehow I’m still completely surprised. I don’t feel any closer to understanding what she looks like. The vibe from this silhouette feels different from the card… It’s hard to make out what’s a ribbon/accessory and what’s supposed to be her hair, but her silhouette is interesting. It’s more bottom heavy than I expected. The one thing I did get correct is that she still has very long hair despite it being thin. I’m intrigued and looking forward to the reveal.
Cure 🖤: Once again, I’m happy that this proves the gothic diva cure is real. However, her silhouette is mostly made up of her hair and veil, so there’s not much to work with here. I’m curious how her hair will look since there’s two strands sticking out in a weird place of her veil, but that’s about all I can say for her until the reveal.
There’s so much confusion (even on the JP side) after it wasn’t revealed over the weekend and now there are magazine scans potentially showing that KimiPuri is 51 episodes instead of 49.
I don’t really know what to believe. In that case, TanPuri wouldn’t start until mid-February but the leaked toy listings said February 1st. Though I don’t understand why they would delay revealing TanPuri otherwise.
Hopefully everything will be cleared up soon. I know I’m just being impatient.

There’s nothing new I can see from the duo, but we finally got confirmation on who’s who. The purple lead is Cure Answer and the pink (?) is Cure Mystique and not Mystic as the (probably MTL) toy listings stated. I’m relieved.
The teal is Cure Eclair and looks nothing like what I expected. On a first impression, her design was a bit of a shock. I’m not a huge fan of the orange with that blue. It’s not her full design though, so who can say. Maybe she’ll grow on me like Cure Answer and her silly hair did. I do like the loops they gave her.
Cure Arcana Shadow also has different vibes than the low quality leaks, but I’m liking this too. She looked way more dark and villainous in the leaks, maybe because the gold trims weren’t visible and the headpiece looked strikingly black rather than the light purple it is. Her shoulder piece is the most regal out of them. The pink highlights in her hair are adorable and I can’t wait to see their full designs in high quality to see the rest of the highlights.
I think this is a good leak since it just shows enough of the characters to get excited for the full release. Hopefully they’ll show the website today, otherwise leakers are going to steal the show the longer they wait.

Silhouette Reveal on 12/25

High Quality Bust Leaks 1/10
I’m still hoping the full website will go up this evening, but there’s finally a high quality look at al the girls! Though it’s only a bust view.
